The Runaki Project now offers citizens an easy and accurate tool to estimate the electricity consumption of household appliances. This calculator is the only official tool that applies the Ministry of Electricity’s guidelines and figures to help users understand and manage their electricity usage effectively.

3. Estimate Monthly Bills: Calculate your monthly electricity usage and get a forecast of your expected bill.

How to Use the Calculator:

1. Visit the Runaki Project website and go to the Consumption Calculator section.

2. Select the Household Appliance Electricity Consumption - kWh tool.

3. Choose the appliances you want to estimate.

4. Enter the number of appliances, hours of use per day, and the power rating in watts. (Check the appliance label for wattage, typically listed as maximum load.)

The calculator will immediately generate an estimate of total monthly electricity consumption.
