Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – The Ministry of Electricity is pleased to announce the start of the Runaki programme in Rania city centre.

This means over 135,000 citizens will enjoy reliable, uninterrupted power from the national grid, and it is part of preparations to provide 24-hour electricity to the entire Raparin independent administration. Over 100 diesel generators will be shut down as part of the switch to 24-hour electricity.
